Seville Presbyterian Church is a warm family of faith Loving kindness, seeking justice and walking humbly with God (Micah 6:8)

Our life together is guided by our long and rich history of being welcoming to newcomers

We believe in miracles, always seeking to follow Jesus Christ’s command “to love God with all your heart, with all your strength,  and with all your mind  and to love your neighbor as yourself”: (Matthew 22:37, 39)

Organizations

The Session is the governing body for the congregation, comprising nine elected elders. Elder session members chair the following committees:
Worship Committee provides leadership for the order of worship, the Lord’s Supper, and special services.  Worship supervises the professional music staff.  Worship meets 1st Wednesday at 7 p.m. during school year.

Stewardship oversees the financial status of the church and plans for annual giving processes.

Property Committee maintains properties; recommends and implements upgrades and repairs to the church building, manse, parking area and grounds.

Christian Education is responsible for the Adult and Youth Sunday School and for Vacation Bible School Curriculum.  With leadership from the Pastor, each age group has specific study methods.

Nominating Committee nominates congregational members to be elected to the Session and to the Board of Deacons.

Mission Committee reaches into the community to discover and provide assistance to neighbors through the local church and with joint programs with other churches in the area.  Mission also plans for local efforts and supports worldwide Mission efforts of the Presbyterian Church USA. We support and participate in Matthew 25 Coalition, the annual Crop Walk, and Pleasant Hills Camp projects.

Care & Communications Committee undertakes to provide information flow within the church family as well as to the community.
